Accreditations & Affiliations
NFE certification programmes are independently reviewed and accredited or approved by Europe Active & the European Register of Exercise Professionals (EREPs). This is the gold standard in Europe for health and fitness education programmes. All our certification programmes are also recognised outside of Europe by leading international bodies, including ICREPs. In total there are more than 50 countries where our education is valid and recognised making NFE a truly international education provider.

EuropeActive, fomerly the European Health and Fitness Association (EHFA), is the (leading) not-for-profit organisation representing the whole European health and fitness sector in Brussels.

EREPS
EREPS is an abbreviation of ‘European Register of Exercise Professionals’, a fully independent register of trainers, instructors, and teachers working in the European fitness and physical activity sector.

ICREPS
The International Confederation of Registers of Exercise Professionals (ICREPs) is an international partnership between registration bodies around the world that register exercise professionals.
We can also facilitate opportunities to get NCCA approved through our education partners. Passing an exam will give you a trusted US-focused credential that will pave the way for you to gain employment and help others become more physically active.
NFE Timeline
The concept of developing the first 100% online certification in Europe was first proposed.
The flagship personal trainer course content was developed by leading fitness experts and educators in line with international professional Level 4 standards.
The first beta-test students were enrolled in the course.
Official launch of the business under the Nordic Fitness Education brand.
first NPTC graduate successfully awarded.
NFE successfully endorsed by EuropeActive and become the first Training Provider in Europe to receive full Level 4 PT accreditation for a 100% online course.
Student numbers grow and NPTC successfully graduates students from 33 countries around the world.
Sleep Recovery Coach developed and added to the NFE portfolio.
NFE acquired by Fitness Academy Europe Coleege based in Malta.
NPTC successfully re-accredited as European Level 4 certification with EREPs, and recognition with ICREPs also obtained.
NFE continues to grow and expand its student reach and build its portfolio of education courses.
