The PowerBlock Lateral Raise — Standing is a good exercise for strengthening the shoulders. The standing position allows for more weight to be used than when seated.


  • Standing tall, hold the PowerBlock dumbbells in your hands with your arms hanging straight.
  • Keeping your arms straight, lift the PowerBlock dumbbells to the sides.
  • Stop at shoulder height and return the PowerBlock dumbbells to the start position.
